Enactus Tilburg University has been named the winner of the Enactus National Exposition 2026 with their impact venture Res-Q Net. The team will represent the Netherlands later this year at the Enactus World Cup in São Paulo, Brazil.
Eleven teams, one winner
During the National Exposition in Utrecht, eleven Enactus teams from across the Netherlands presented their social enterprises to a jury of business leaders. The projects were assessed on impact, innovation, and sustainability.
Enactus Tilburg University finished in first place, followed by Enactus University of Amsterdam in second place and Enactus Erasmus University Rotterdam in third.
Res-Q Net: communication when it matters most
Res-Q Net developed an autonomous communication network that continues to function when regular infrastructure fails, for example during floods or power outages.
The solution was tested in Apeldoorn in collaboration with the Safety Region Noord- en Oost-Gelderland (VNOG), where three network stations provided full coverage of the city.
To the world stage
“We built Res-Q Net because we saw in practice how vulnerable our critical infrastructure is,” says Çağan Kılınç, founder of Res-Q Net and student at Enactus Tilburg University. Together with co-founder Tiago David, he developed the emergency communication network.
“That we are now truly able to offer a solution that can save lives is incredible. The successful pilot in Apeldoorn showed that our system works when everything fails. That the jury recognises this and rewards it with the national title is a huge honour. We cannot wait to pitch our venture on the world stage in Brazil.”
With this win, the team will travel to the Enactus World Cup in São Paulo, where they will represent the Netherlands.
