“Hello everyone, my name is Lisalou and recently I joined the Enactus Netherlands team as Program Manager!
Here’s a little bit about me: I am 27 years old and I live in Amsterdam for quite some time now, almost 10 years (!). But fun fact: I grew up on the island Texel and because of that I feel a strong connection to nature and therefore sustainability. That is why I moved to Vietnam during my studies Environmental Science, to conduct research on plastic pollution. I wanted to experience the world, connect with people and learn more about sustainability.
But what has to do all that with Enactus you might wonder? One year ago, I started my own business to contribute to making the world more sustainable and find a balance between the environment, the economy and social well-fare. That is why I feel connected to the Enactus spirit. That on the one hand; I can support Enactus members on their journey of starting their own business, because I know how fun and valuable that is, and be part of the impact they are making. While on the other hand; meeting like-minded people and share energy and motivation.
Having said that, my dream within Enactus is to facilitate many inspiring events and to ensure that the Enactus members have an amazing time while creating learning opportunities. I am looking forward to meeting all of you soon during one of our workshops or events!”
