The ‘Feestjesfabriek’ of Enactus Groningen works on equal opportunities for every child. One in five children in the province of Groningen grows up below the poverty line. This means that some children do not get a warm meal at night, is wearing too small shoes or cannot become a member of a sports club. Let alone that there is a budget for a birthday party. The ‘Feestjesfabriek’ gives these children the chance to celebrate their birthday with their friends. We work with a one-for-one model. The proceeds from the children’s parties will be used to organise free parties for disadvantaged children.
